The NGO community does a fantastic job working for a more inclusive society, and often with very little means. By creating the WeVolunteer program sought to encourage ENL employees to give back to society, and give the NGO community access to professional skills which would otherwise be out of their reach. 

Since 2011, Baz'Art Kreasion empowers vulnerable women in the handicraft sector by promoting financial autonomy through creativity and upcycling. Based in Moka, the workshop supplies hotels, corporates and shops with unique, responsibly craft items. 

Mokaray is a social entreprise operating a restaurant located at the entrance of Vivéa Business Park. Since 2020, it serves delicious Mauritian dishes and caters for events and corporate canteens.

Launched in January 2024, the We Matter project targeted 19 unemployed women from Le Bouchon, who were eager to launch their entrepreneurial careers despite having limited formal training. With the support of MOL Charity Trust the ENLF helped them achieve economic independence through coaching, capacity building and the provision of seed capital to start their businesses.

Aprann is an employability booster programme for untrained and unskilled individuals from vulnerable communities. Through psychological preparation, reinforcement of values and life skills, vocational training, job placement and on the job training, the ENLF and its partners – namely, Oficea and a network of companies established at Vivéa Business Park – help participants become fully employable. The programme aims at supporting 300 participants by June 2026. 

La Ferme Nou Leritaz (LFNL) is an integrated agricultural hub in the South which allows some 90 vulnerable families to acquire skills, equipment and technical support to improve their own livelihood. It comprises plots of agricultural land, animal feed storage facilities, a selling point and training space.
