Plastinax Austral Ltd is looking for a highly motivated and professional Accounts Officer to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Invoices based on confirmed client orders (for local credit sales) and on shipping instructions (for exports).
- Preparation of credit notes.
- Preparation & dispatching of MCB Export loan documents.
- Updating of list of invoices for export finance.
- Ensuring invoices respect local and foreign authorities’ requirements.
- Prepare all related shipping documents and specific documents for foreign customs purpose.
- Deal with freight forwarding agencies to facilitate exports.
- Prepare costing sheet as required.
- Liaise with other departments to obtain information to verify and/or support financial records and to answer queries.
- Proper filing of documents as required.
- Process Suppliers Invoices.
- Prepare cheques/IB.
- Reconciliation of balances due with suppliers’ statement of accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Higher school Certificate
- ACCA level 1 would be an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the accounting field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in using pastel would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in english and french
- Well organised, proactive, attention to details and can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Salary range will depend upon qualification and experience.
