Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Accountant – Financial Control to join our team and report directly to the Head of Financial Control. If you are passionate about finance and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!
Your role:
- Prepare Group financial statements for internal and external reporting in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate recording, processing, and summarisation of financial transactions for reporting purposes.
- Compile information for the annual report and implement new IFRS standards as required.
- Manage and coordinate the audit process with external auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of Group financials for budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans for Management.
- Oversee the receipt and follow-up of management letters across sectors.
- Update the Rogers Policies and Procedures – Finance manual to comply with new IFRS or statutory/legal requirements.
- Keep the consolidation software updated for IFRS changes and support sectors in their submissions.
- Provide information to external stakeholders, including SEM, auditors, and business publications.
- Build strong relationships with the Finance team, stakeholders, and relevant regulatory authorities
Your profile:
- Qualifications: Recently qualified ACCA or ACA, or a degree holder in finance or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or reporting, preferably in the financial sector.
